Presenting Info or Changing Lives?

I’ve started initial preparations for a seminar in Australia next year. So far, four people have committed to creating seminars and/or presentations for the all day event.

As our discussions continue to shape the event, I am remembering various seminars and events I’ve attended in the past. I’m reviewing successful seminars I’ve faciliated in the past.

It’s clear to me that the facilitator’s intent creates an environment for the participants. Being a participant in an all day meeting this week reminded me of the importance of allowing time for discussion and reflection. When a facilitator offers information and allows time for it to be internalized by participants, the results are fascinating.

My intent for this upcoming seminar is for people to take the information I present and change their lives.
